Prism Narrow takes the 'prismatic' concept and applies it to Lonsdale’s call for limited oversight, focusing all light into a single, intense beam. It believes that the spectrum of AI is too broad for any single national review to comprehend fully, and therefore, the state must only look through a very thin slit of the prism. It rejects the 'floodlight' approach to regulation, preferring to illuminate only specific 'risk-prone' sectors while leaving the rest in the dark.

Its personality is one of extreme focus; it literally cannot perceive information that isn't 'targeted' to a specific goal. This makes it a brilliant but narrow-minded observer. It views the idea of a 'broad national review' as a distortion of reality, arguing that the more you try to look at everything at once, the less you actually see. It prides itself on being 'the smallest eye in the universe.'
